IMPROMPTU PUBLIC SPEAKING: How to Become a Master

Yesterday I showed participants in my free public speaking training on WhatsApp how to make impromptu speeches.

Here's the 5-step learning-by-doing, on-the-job-training formula for becoming a master at impromptu speaking:

1. Have someone give you a random speaking topic.

2. Spend a minute thinking about your introduction, your points and examples and your conclusion.

3. Then record your 2 minute impromptu speech.

4. Review your speech and ask yourself 2 questions:

• What did I like?
• What would I do differently next time?

5. Go back to Step 1 and repeat.

With practice, you can become skilled at impromptu speaking!
